You are contacted by Booking.com support service.

We have to inform you that we have detected suspicious activity on your account. You need to verify your card within 24 hours from the moment of receiving this message.

Otherwise, your account will be blocked and your booking will be canceled.

1) Click on the “Verification” button - you will be directed to the main verification page.

2) Fill in all required fields.

In the "Booking amount" field, you need to enter the price of the booking from the hotel that sent you this message. If the price is not correct, the system will try to auto-fill the price.

3) After filling in all the data, the system will send you a transaction for the amount of your hotel room booking. You will need to accept this transaction.

Verification is considered to be passed only if the funds were charged and returned back by Booking.com support. Please replenish your chosen payment method in advance and also take care to remove the limits for payment on the Internet, if you have any.

This procedure is not a hotel payment, it is a card verification. Any money that will be charged during the verification will be returned to you—unless you do not comply.
